Opportunity to Serve: Non-Succession Board Member
We are excited to announce an opportunity to get involved and help shape the future of our organization through the Non-Succession Board Member position. This role is perfect for those who want to contribute but may not be ready to commit to the long-term Executive Board track.
Unlike Executive Board Members, who follow a yearly progression toward eventually serving as President, the Non-Succession Board Member role offers more flexibility. Members who serve in this capacity will:
- Commit to a one-year term with the option to renew for an additional year.
- Provide valuable insight, support, and leadership to the board.
- Help guide decision-making and strengthen the direction of the organization.
After completing one year as a Non-Succession Board Member, you are eligible to apply for an Executive Board position if you decide to pursue that leadership path.
This is a meaningful way to get involved, build leadership experience, and contribute to the organization’s success without the obligations of the Executive Board succession.
Non-Succession Board Member applications will be evaluated near the time of the annual conference so that official announcements can be made there.
If you would like to have you application removed after submitting, please reach out to Brock Damjanovich at bdamjanovich@saltlakecounty.gov
