Refund Policy

The Utah PIO Association is committed to providing valuable professional development and networking opportunities while responsibly managing nonprofit resources.

Membership Dues

Membership dues are generally non-refundable once payment has been processed.

Exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis for duplicate charges or administrative errors.

Conference and Event Registrations

Refund requests for conferences or paid events must be submitted in writing to the Association.

Unless otherwise stated for a specific event:

  • Full refunds may be issued for cancellations received at least 30 days prior to the event.
  • Partial refunds (up to 50%) may be issued for cancellations received 14–29 days prior to the event.
  • Refunds are generally not available within 14 days of the event.

Substitutions from the same organization may be permitted if requested before the event begins.

Event Cancellations

If the Association cancels an event, registrants may receive:

  • A full refund, or
  • The option to transfer registration to a future event

The Association is not responsible for travel, lodging, or other incidental expenses incurred by attendees.

Processing Time

Approved refunds may take 7–14 business days to process depending on the payment provider.
